About Us
Our Story
Le Coulee Cheese Castle was started in 1980 in Mindoro, WI by Duane and Mary Lou Pfaff. Mr. Pfaff was a cheese maker and operated several different cheese factories around Wisconsin during his long career. He moved the business to downtown West Salem in 1981, where it remains today. In 2003, the business was sold to Nick Miller and continues to provide quality Wisconsin cheese, Wisconsin sausage, hand-dipped ice cream cones, and gifts for all occasions.
